Is window tinting legal in New York State?
Yes. New York State law requires front side windows to allow at least 70% light transmission. Rear windows and the back windshield have no legal minimum. We install only NYS-compliant tint and can advise on the darkest legal shade for your vehicle.
How long does automotive window tinting take?
Most cars take 2–4 hours depending on the number of windows and film type. We recommend leaving the vehicle for a full day to ensure a perfect installation.
What is the difference between LLumar CTX and IRX film?
LLumar CTX is a high-performance ceramic film that blocks 99% of UV rays and significantly reduces heat. LLumar IRX is our top-tier infrared-rejecting ceramic film that blocks up to 97% of infrared heat for maximum comfort. Both carry a lifetime warranty.
